What is Equine-facilitated Learning (EFL)?

EFL is an experiential approach to teaching and learning. Guided by our Certified Coach and Equine Specialist, participants work with the horses for the purpose of promoting personal growth and development. Individuals in EFL sessions explore ways of trusting their intuition, exploring healthy boundaries, examining their intentions, and engaging in personal change. Participants develop confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, empathy, and a deeper understanding of themselves, others, and their world.

Developmentally delayed adult, individuals on the Autism Spectrum, and school-aged children working on goals through an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) can also benefit from EFL sessions.
