About The Event
The Healing Herd is a one-year program for people who already have experience with horses, and experience supporting other people (for example, as a counsellor, therapist, social worker, educator or coach), and are wanting to explore how they might bring horses into that work. All applications to join the program will be considered on their own merits: we will be flexible on exactly what kinds of experience people have with horses and with supporting others, but it is essential that you have some before entering the program.

This is not a certification program: there is currently no professional body either in the USA or New Zealand that oversees the credentialing of practitioners in this field, and we therefore do not claim to offer a program that, on its own, qualifies people to offer equine-facilitated learning, coaching or therapy. Instead, it is for people who are already working to support others and are interested in exploring, in an open, collaborative and soulful way, the healing and growth potential of the horse-human relationship. All participants are invited to bring their own experience and insight to the programme and to take part in refining the content to fit the needs and interests of those attending.
The program will have a maximum of 6 participants.

Fees
​
$1,500 per module
$5,400 (10% discount) if paid in full before the start of the program.
$600 (10%) deposit is required at registration to secure your place.
