Equine Facilitated Learning Coaching and Healing

The Healing Herd is a year-long program exploring the healing potential of the horse-human partnership. It's a training and personal development program for people who already work providing support to others, and it's intended to help participants clarify how they would like to bring horses, or horse wisdom, into their work, and develop the skills to do this.

 

There are many different ways to work with horses in human healing, so it's very helpful to experience a particular approach for yourself before signing up to learn how to offer it as a practitioner. Our approach in The Healing Herd puts the horse at the centre of the work as an equal and honoured partner, and draws extensively on Non-Violent Communication and the latest insights from interpersonal neuroscience on how we heal and grow.

 

Participants learn to become more "horse-like" in their awareness and approach to their relationships with themselves - their body, emotions, mind and soul - and others.

 

The two-day Healing Herd Introductory Workshop gives you the opportunity to experience how we work. It's suitable for anyone who's curious about equine-led growth and healing, whether you are considering the full-year program or not.
